Planning or Helping Out at Events. * Possible tasks to include attending and working at various events, talking to potential adopters and distributing information for the Davis Dog Farm; selling-dog related items at The Davis Dog Farm table, transporting, handling, and/or answering questions about dogs available for adoption; transporting event supplies; event set-up, tear down and clean-up; and helping with other tasks to make the event successful.
Dog Walking * Working with dogs at the Farm. Walking, feeding, assisting with training, playing, offsite enrichment.
Fundraising * Assist a team that would be responsible for planning, executing and/or assisting in events such as Basket Bingo, Photos with Santa, etc. Devise, plan and/or assist in raising money through unique programs such as jewelry/art sales, yard sales, etc. Obtain donors, sponsors and contributions for events. Design and/or make dog-related items such as tugs, blankets, dog treats, etc. to be sold at events.
Transportation * Driving or assisting with transporting dogs to foster homes, vet visits or to events.
Odds and End Tasks * Cleaning dog rooms and spaces including crates, dog bowls, dog puzzles, etc. and tasks that do not require dog interactions
