By applying to adopt an animal from our shelter, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of the Adoption Policy located at https://www.bridgehome.org/policies#adoptionpolicy
Key points of our Adoption Policy include:
- Adopters must be at least 21 years old and have a suitable and secure living environment.
- Our team conducts a Meet and Greet session to ensure a good match between the adopter, the adopter’s current pets(if applicable), and the animal.
- An adoption fee is required, which helps cover the cost of caring for our animals.
- Upon approval of the adoption application, an Adoption Contract must be signed.
- Post-adoption, adopters are responsible for providing necessary veterinary care and humane care to the adopted animal.
- If an adopter can no longer care for the adopted animal, we prefer that the animal is returned to us.
- We reserve the right to refuse or deny any adoption application if it is not in the best interest of the animal.
