Being a therapy hound is not for every dog. It is important that you consider your dog's temperament before putting them forward for assessment to be a therapy hound. To help you do this, please consider the criteria below and tick each box to confirm your dog meets them.

Please note: if you choose to proceed with a therapy hounds assessment for your dog, the cost of the assessment will be met by Greyhound Rescue Wales. We ask that volunteers commit to at least 3 visits within 12 months of their assessment in order to make the assessment worthwhile.
If you are not able to complete 3 visits within the first 12 months, you may be asked to make a partial or full reimbursement of the cost of assessing your dog.
