Thank you for offering your time, once submitted you will be contacted by email or phone call to let you know when you are able to start volunteering. Volunteers who are 10 to 15 years of age can come in with an adult. 16 years and up can volunteer alone.

*	1. All volunteer workers should be dressed in a presentable manner. If the volunteer is not dressed satisfactorily, the person in charge of the shelter may refuse the volunteer the right to volunteer.
*	2. Volunteers are under the complete control of the Animal Control Officer or the person in charge of the shelter.
*	3. The Animal Control Officer or the person in charge of the shelter shall assign the volunteer their duties.
*	4. At no time will a volunteer be left alone at the shelter.
*	5. The volunteer will not carry any firearms/weapons.
*	6. Record checks will be conducted before any volunteer is permitted to participate.
*	FOR THE SOLE CONSIDERATION of Permission of the City of Nevada, Missouri, allowing me to volunteer at the Nevada Animal Shelter, I, the undersigned hereby release and forever discharge the City of Nevada, its agents and employees, jointly, separately, and individually therein and expressly deny liability, from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever, and particularly on account of all injuries, known or unknown to both person and property, which have resulted or may in the future develop from volunteering at the Nevada Animal Shelter. Undersigned hereby declares that the terms of this release have been completely read and are fully understood and voluntarily accepted for the purpose of volunteering at the Nevada Animal Shelter and for the settlement of any and all claims, disputed or otherwise, on account of the injuries and damages above mentioned, and for the express purpose of precluding forever any claims arising out
