Community Service Hours Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Thursday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Friday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Saturday: 8:00AM - 12:00 PM Sunday: 7:00 AM - ~10:00 AM (leave when things are clean) Monday: 8:00 AM - ~11:00 AM (leave when things are clean) Please note that ALL community service workers MUST arrive at 8 am. If workers cannot arrive at 8:00 AM, they must have approval from the director.

*	You must sign in at the front desk every time you come in.
*	You must have a staff member sign you out before leaving. We cannot verify your time otherwise.
*	Afternoon hours must be scheduled with the director.
*	Breaks will be given once all condos, kennels, and dishes are completed. See a staff member to coordinate your break.
*	Dress code: Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and pants you can bend in. T-shirts and jeans are recommended.
*	You are expected to stay busy and productive. If there is nothing to do, we will sign you out for the day.
*	Inappropriate physical contact with other volunteers, staff, or anyone else in the building is not allowed.
*	If phones become an issue, we will ask you to leave it in the car.
*	Vapes and cigarettes must be left in your vehicle and are not permitted in the building.
*	Non-compliance is grounds for termination of community service at DHS.
Volunteer Liability Release Agreement
*If under 16 years of age, applicant must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who agrees to the terms of this agreement:
*	I understand this volunteer position may involve contact with animals.
*	I realize that this volunteer position may involve exposure to shelter hazards, such as animal waste, cleaning agents, microbes, scratches, bites.
*	I realize that the DHS will take all reasonable care to minimize risks to all volunteers.
*	I further agree to hold DHS, its Board of Directors, officers, management, employees, and other volunteers faultless for any injury or loss that may occur.
