Dismissal of Volunteers

The Humane Society for Animals, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss a volunteer who does not follow procedures or our Mission. Volunteers must not interfere with, question, or argue with the staff or the board of directors. Although, we make every effort to find rescue or adoptive homes for our animals, there are times when we have no choice by to euthanize due to overcrowding or adoptability.
We cannot adopt out terminally ill or aggressive animals. These decisions are extremely difficult heartbreaking and stressful for our staff. Volunteers that cause discord for our staff regarding any of the above will have their volunteer privileges permanently revoked.
