I understand this is primarily a cleaning volunteering position, and that there is a certain period of time to ensure all things are done at cat nap before opening for the day. This involves litter boxes, cleaning floors, wiping down walls, tables windows etc, picking up feces urine of various surfaces, cages, trash etc, it also involves feeding the animals and filling up food and water. Once everything is complete you are welcome to sit and hang out with the cats, we do ask that while your actively volunteering that you help as much as possible and take initive to get things done to help the team. We cant do it with out our volunteers and your support is very important. We need dedicated hard working self motivated people to join our team and ideally commit to one shift weekly on a regular basis. Below you can put the days and times you are available and we will be in touch. Sorry we dont have anymore young kid shifts available currently.Thank you

I understand that because I will be handling animals, I may be exposed to zoonotic diseases transmitted from cats to humans, and that working with cats i am at risk being scratched and bitten, If you are injured please let us know asap. i will also be working with chemicals to maintain the cleanliness of the facility. ,I agree to take responsibility for assuring my protection from risk and release Alfies Kitten Rescue and CAt Nap Hangout and Adoptions, all staff, employee, owners, managers and volunteers from any liability. I also understand that this is a commitment and if for any reason i cannot make a shift or continue volunteering, i will let the staff know.
