I grant Long Way Home Adoptables permission to use photographs, videos, or recordings taken during volunteer activities for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. *

Long Way Home Adoptables is very diligent when selecting which animals attend events or participate in activities. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our animals, volunteers, and the public at all times. However, volunteers should understand that animals can be unpredictable. Even well-socialized animals may bite, scratch, jump, or behave unexpectedly. By submitting this volunteer application, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks associated with working with animals. *

By submitting this form, I voluntarily agree to release, waive, and discharge Long Way Home Adoptables, its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or demands that may arise from my participation in volunteer activities. I understand this release includes any claims related to bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage that may occur during volunteer activities, whether caused by negligence of otherwise. *

I release Long Way Home Adoptables from any claims arising from any first aid, medical treatment, or services rendered in connection with volunteer activities. I acknowledge and agree to the Medical Treatment clause. *

I understand that volunteer activitiesmay involve risks including injury from animals, physical activity, travel, or other hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. *

I understand that Long Way Home Adoptables does not provide medical, health, or disability insurance for volunteers. *

I understand and agree that as a volunteer I expressley agree that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas, and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. As a volunteer, I also agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable. *
