The Foster home agrees to house and care for the Dane(s) belonging to NCGDRNE until a safe home is found. The Foster Home understands and agrees that NCGDRNE is the sole and rightful owner of the foster dog(s), and that the length of each dogs stay is depended on the dog and the work required for rehoming. * Please Initial

The Foster Home understands that NCGDRNE is not responsible for any damage caused by the Dane while in foster care. The Foster Home accepts liability for any and all incidents that occur in connection with the fostering of a NCGDRNE Dane. Foster Home agrees to confine the Dane in the safest manner for the individua dog, this could be a crate, gate or instill the use of a water drinkable muzzle on the Dane in an appropriate space when it is required and when they cannot be directly supervised * Please Initial
Crate training is preferred for NCGDRNE foster Danes. If a Dane is not crate trained when inducted into the foster care system, the Foster Home should work with the Dane to acclimatize it to the crate using positive training methods. NCGDRNE will try to provide crates to any foster home that needs one. Crates will either transfer to dogs new home or back to the rescue. * Please Initial
The Foster Home agrees to provide the Dane (and all other animals he/she owns) with proper veterinary care as is recommended by NCGDRNE. Routine vet care covered by NCGDRNE includes such services as vaccinations and preventative care. All vet appointments must be pre-approved by NCGDRNE. Expenditures incurred by the Foster Home without prior approval by NCGDRNE are the sole responsibility of the foster family. All bills for reimbursement, together with a completed expense report and original veterinary paperwork, should be mailed to NCGDRNE mailing address or northerngdrne@gmail.com * Please Initial
The Foster Home understands that if it decides it wants to adopt the Dane permanently, it must notify NCGDRNE. We will not cancel an adoption in progress. * Please Initial
Foster Home agrees to return this dog to a representative of NCGDRNE within 24 hours of being asked to return the dog. If Foster home is unavailable at the time the dog is needed, Foster Home agrees to make the dog available for pick up within the 24-hour period * Please Initial
Should the Foster Home request removal of the Dane from their home for any reason other than bodily harm to a member of the Foster Home, the Foster Home must be prepared to keep the Dane until suitable lodging can be arranged. It may not be possible for NCGDRNE to arrange lodgings for the Dane for several days. * Please Initial

All materials/objects/supplies including but not limited to forms, collars, crates, etc. provided to the volunteer /oster (for events/foster/volunteer purposes) will be returned within 48 hours of NCGDRNE asking for them, unless other arrangements are agreed upon *
