Foster carers are required to show Willow Tree Sanctuary where the foster animal/s will be living by providing photographs (a home check may be requested by staff if photos are inadequate or requires a check in person). Foster Carer Agreement - Please check each condition you agree to. Failure to agree to all conditions may result in your foster application being denied.

I agree to put a collar with a tag (engraved, or plastic tag with contact details) on each of my foster animals the day they arrive in care. *

I agree to keep in regular weekly contact with my coordinator; providing updates, photos and videos of my foster animal/s *

I agree to provide adequate food, water, shelter and enrichment for my foster animal/s and to keep the animal and environment in a hygienic and satisfactory condition. *

I agree to inform my coordinator immediately of any changes in my circumstance, environment or otherwise that may effect my foster animal/s (including contact information). *

I agree to provide transportation for my foster animal/s to and from their vet appointments *

I agree that if I take my foster animal to a non-approved vet without prior approval from my coordinator, Willow Tree Sanctuary will not cover the costs or provide reimbursement. *

I agree that while I have a foster in my care, I will only foster for Willow Tree Sanctuary. I will not foster for another rescue group at the same time as. Willow Tree Sanctuary without prior approval from my coordinator. (This includes pet sitting) *

I agree that any and all animals in my home or that will have access to my foster animal will have current and up-to-date vetwork (including vaccinations and desexing) and understand the risk to my animals if they are not. *

I understand that Willow Tree Sanctuary may not know the medical history or any undisclosed behavioural problems (any information provided to staff is shared with the carer prior to collection). *

I agree to accept the animal in its current condition (health and behaviour) and to work with the staff on issues that arise (where able). *

I agree that I will not hand over care or ownership of my foster animal to any other party (shelter, pound, carer, adopter etc.) unless approved to do so by your coordinator. *

I agree to inform my coordinator immediately if I am no longer able to provide due care to my foster animal; understanding that the animal may not be moved straight away due to carer availability. *

I agree to inform my coordinator immediately should my foster animal become sick, injured, lost or anything else that could impact their health or adoption. *

I agree that should my foster become sick or injured or otherwise while in my care due to negligence on my part, that I am fully responsible for all costs associated and may result in immediate removal of the animal and approval as foster carer *

I understand that Willow Tree Sanctuary are the legal owners of all foster animals that are surrendered to the rescue (this includes animals who are not microchipped) *

I agree that any decisions that need to be made on the welfare of a Willow Tree Sanctuary foster animal, including but not limited to health, behaviour, euthanasia and future homes will be made by the coordinator and committee only. *

I agree that the Facebook Carers Group is to be used to communicate regarding Willow Tree Sanctuary foster animals only; and that no harassment, bullying or abuse of any kind will be tolerated. *

I agree that if I am approved to adopt (foster fail) an animal in my care; the animal remains legal property of Willow Tree Sanctuary until the below criteria is met: 1) a signed application is submitted. 2) all vet work is completed (vaccination/s, microchip, desexing and anything else deemed necessary by our vets and committee). 3) complete payment has been received as per invoice emailed to me. 4) adoption paperwork is emailed to me to confirm successful adoption. Failure to comply with any of the above may result in WTS enlisting help from debt collection agencies and local authorities *

I agree that any sensitive business information I hear during my time with Willow Tree Sanctuary should be treated as confidential and I will not under any circumstance disclose said information to an unauthorised third party. *

I agree that failure to comply with the terms and conditions as stated above may result in the removal of my foster animals and termination of my foster agreement and registration. *

By checking below and accepting a foster animal into my care, I acknowledge that I am bound by and agree to the above terms and conditions of fostering for Willow Tree Sanctuary. Furthermore I understand that should I be in breach of the above terms and conditions my registration will be terminated and I may be held liable (financially or otherwise) for any damage, death, illness or injury caused by or to my foster animal.
