	The NCHS team will likely focus on your housing’s pet policy during a possible physical or virtual home visit. It will be helpful to have a copy of your lease or a written statement from your management confirming that a dog of a particular size/breed is permitted. This may also be from your HOA.
	A meeting with the dog & your family (including your dog) will be arranged.
	If you & NCHS decide an adoption can occur, a contract will be filled out, signed, and payment will be taken. You may take the dog home, or a time will be arranged for you to collect it.
