OAR Lost Cat Report

OAR Lost Cat Report

If your cat is lost or missing in the Greater Cincinnati area, please fill out this form. We will contact you right away if your cat arrives at OAR.

1) How would my cat end up at OAR? Ohio Alleycat Resource does not take cats directly from the public, but your cat could arrive at OAR via our partnership with Cincinnati Animal CARE. Cats taken to the CARE as strays are brought to OAR to be spayed/neutered. Some of these cats join our shelter. In addition, thousands of cats are brought by the public to OAR's Spay/Neuter Clinic every year.

2) What else can I do? Be persistent and pursue a wide variety of techniques. Do not give up hope! Please visit our Lost Cats page for advice and resources.

3) Could I trap my cat? Humane traps are a great tool for capturing lost indoor cats. You can read about this at The Creative Cat. Traps can be borrowed from OAR's Spay/Neuter Clinic for a $70 deposit Monday through Friday from 10am-3:30pm and Sunday from 12pm-1pm. OAR's Clinic is located at 5619 Orlando Place, Cincinnati, OH 45227. It can be reached at 513-871-0185.
