Foster Application

When you receive a new foster cat, an isolation room to keep the fostered cat(s) away from your pets and family members is required for at least 10 days and until they have been vetted.

Any resident pets must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on annual vaccinations.

We do not encourage fostering as a means to meet and try-out cats. Please check out our Adoption information on our website and fill in an adoption application if you are interested in adoption soon, Adopted cats can be returned at anytime for any reason with a refund if within 30 days.

* Trap-neuter-release (TNR) feral cats need to be kept indoors for 3 days to 2 weeks following the spay/neuter operation so they can recover before being released. They must be kept in a quiet area (a spare bedroom or temperature controlled garage would do well) in a large dog crate with food, water and litter. Fosters should have their own dog crate but if not, may borrow one from OSCatR.
For shy cats we do recommend a virtual visit first, followed by an in-person visit
