PAWS-PATAS – Cat admission form (waiting list)

Please read carefully before completing this form.

This form is for cats who have never been in the care of PAWS-PATAS and need to be placed on our waiting list.

Before continuing, please understand the following:

  • We cannot help every stray cat. Our resources are limited.
  • Our aim is not to remove cats from the streets, but to help homeable cats find loving homes.
  • Our adopters are looking for friendly lap cats. If a cat cannot be safely picked up, placed on your lap, and handled comfortably, this form is not appropriate.
  • Our facilities operate at full capacity and we have a long waiting list.
  • Before admission, cats must test negative for FIV and FeLV to protect other cats in our care.
  • If a cat needs medical attention, please take it to your nearest vet. PAWS-PATAS does not employ medically trained staff and cannot provide emergency intervention.

Has this cat previously been adopted, fostered, or treated by PAWS-PATAS?

If YES → Do NOT use this form. Please complete the Surrender form instead.

If NO → Continue with this Admission form to join the waiting list.

Even a rough idea will help us
An accurate weight will help us determine the correct age for very young kittens.

For any cat weighing over 1 kg, it must be tested for FIV and FeLV before being admitted. We cannot accept untested cats into the shelter under any circumstances, as this poses a serious risk of cross-infection to cats already in our care.

(If not, please provide a name. This is for administrative purposes to help us enter the animal into our records.)
Please attach a photo of the cat.
We prefer horizontal (landscape) images as they are easier to view in our records.

Do they get on with other cats or with dogs? These kinds of details could help us find the right home for them.
If for some reason we are unable to take the cat immediately, could you look after the animal until we can find a foster carer or a space go free in the cattery?
