In a medical emergency, I will contact the practice immediately to arrange an appointment and will then inform the Foster Coordinator or Cattery Manager as soon as possible. When making any appointment, whether routine or emergency, I will always quote the cat's PAWS-PATAS C-number (e.g. C2026123) to ensure the correct cat is identified.
I understand that I will be notified by email at least one month in advance when the cat is due for its annual Rabies, RCP, and FeLV vaccinations.
I will bring the animal to the PAWS-PATAS shelter whenever reasonably requested, including for veterinary treatment, vaccinations, behavioural assessments, or any other welfare-related reason.
I will attend veterinary appointments when requested. I understand that all appointments must be authorised and scheduled by the Foster Coordinator, Cattery Manager, or another authorised PAWS-PATAS representative.
I will ensure that the cat's passport or Green Card (Certificado Oficial de Primovacunación) remains at our cattery vet unless I have been specifically instructed otherwise by PAWS-PATAS.
I will notify PAWS-PATAS immediately if the animal develops any illness, injury, medical condition, behavioural problem, or if I have any concerns about its welfare.
I will not rehome, give away, sell, transfer to another foster carer, or release the animal without the prior written approval of PAWS-PATAS.
If I decide to adopt the animal, I will notify the Foster Coordinator immediately and complete the standard PAWS-PATAS adoption process.
