Cat Adoption Application

AAR cat adoption application.

How did you find us? Have you adopted from AAR previously?
BRING A CAT CARRIER WITH YOU to insure safe transport home for your new family member! IF YOU RENT, bring your landlord's permission document with you. For their safety, AAR only adopts kittens intended for indoor living. AAR encourages all potential adopters to research the leash and restraint laws in their county. First-time cat/kitten owners - lots of good information on the internet. AAR strongly discourages de-clawing.
“MEET & GREET” RELEASE Although Abandoned Animal Rescue (“AAR”) does its best to assess the temperament and health of animals in its care and to advise individuals of same, there is always a risk that individuals may sustain personal injury and/or property damage when dealing with animals (including, but not limited to, for example, dogs or cats may bite or scratch people and other animals). In consideration of being allowed to meet AAR’s dogs and/or cats, I (on behalf of myself, my heirs and personal representatives) hereby agree as follows: • I assume all risk of loss or injury arising from my encounters with AAR’s animals. • I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE AAR (including but not limited to AAR’s officers, directors, employees, volunteers, successors, and assigns) from any and all responsibilities, liabilities, claims, causes of action, or demands of any nature arising out of or relating to my encounters with AAR’s animals and/or conditions on AAR’s premises, including injuries or damages resulting in whole or part from AAR’s own negligence. • If I brought my own dog(s) to AAR on today’s visit, I FURTHER AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, and otherwise HOLD AAR HARMLESS from and against any claims for damages caused in whole or in part by my dog(s), including claims arising from or relating to AAR’s own negligence.
