For this job you need to have a really good understanding about reading dogs body language. We do not have many 'easy to walk' dogs but we do sometimes. They are often strong and in training. Please tell us about your experience with dogs and the sort of dogs you are used to walking. * To be a volunteer Dog Walker, you will need to be able to walk many different sizes and types of dogs in all weathers. Dogs in rescue come in many different sizes, ours are usually the large boisterous ones that aren't easy on the lead. We do sometimes have greyhounds or smaller ones, Please tell us about your experience with dogs and the sort of dogs you are used to walking.
I am physically capable of walking medium to large dogs. *

If there was no dog walking on the day, I am capable of heavy manual work cleaning and setting up kennels *
