BARRC Dog Sterilisation Program (SNIP)

If you’re finding it hard to cover vet costs, BARRC may be able to assist with a reduced-cost desexing program for your dog.
💲Program Funding This program operates solely from proceeds raised through BARRC’s Containers for Change initiative (Scheme ID: C10301414). As funding is limited, assistance is prioritised for concession card holders.However, non–card holders may be considered under special circumstances when additional funds allow. In exceptional cases, the $50 contribution fee may also be waived at BARRC’s discretion, based on individual hardship or compassionate grounds.
✅ Eligibility Requirements
Please read carefully before applying: • Applicants must hold a current valid concession card. (*In limited cases, assistance may be offered to non-card holders when extra funds are available.) • You must be able to access one of our registered veterinary partners in Collie, Bunbury, or Eaton, Western Australia. • Once approved, a non-refundable $50 upfront payment is required to secure your booking. • The subsidy covers sterilisation only. Any additional services will be at the owner’s expense. • Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that an animal will be sterilised. You must apply for assistance and receive your voucher BEFORE you take your pet to the vet.

I declare that I am the owner of the animal identified in this application and that no other person has a proprietary interest in the animal. I agree to indemnify BARRC against any claims or liabilities arising from my participation in the Dog Sterilisation Program.
I confirm that I am 18 years of over.
I understand that if there are any special circumstances (e.g. if my dog is pregnant or in season, male dog has retained testicles, etc.) I am liable for additional costs that are not covered by BARRC.
I understand that if any complications occur (e.g. post-operative infection, anaesthetic reaction, etc.) and my pet needs treatment post-surgery, I am liable for additional costs that are not covered by BARRC.

I agree to providing a $50 deposit within 14 days of confirmation of acceptance for the program and understand that refunds will not be permitted.
I understand that if my application is approved, a voucher will be issued for use at the selected vet. I acknowledge that the voucher has an expiry date and that my $50 deposit will not be refunded if the voucher is not used within 30 days of being issued.
Once your application has been approved, you will be issued with a unique voucher code. At each stage of the process you will receive an email to the address provided on this form. Please note response time can take up to 14 working days.
