Fostering Form for Dogs

Your Contact Details

A bit about your interest in Fostering a Dog
As a centre, when looking to place an animal in foster, we prioritise those in most need of a home environment, therefore, ask all foster carers to remain open minded when it comes to breed and type of dog (although we will always match you appropriately).

What we will need to consider

Now a little about your home

Please note: We will ask for written proof of landlord permission, therefore recommend you having this to hand prior to being contacted. This can be in the form of a letter, tenancy agreement or an email from your landlord agreeing to you housing animals. Some new requests for permission can take up to 28 days to process, meaning we will not be able proceed with your application.
It is our policy to only rehome to gardens which have secure gardens - this means 6ft secure boundaries, in all but exceptional cases.

References
In order to become a foster carer with CDCH, we will require you to provide the details of two people (un-related to you), who would be happy to be contacted and give a personal reference on your behalf. Please note, we will not make contact with anyone prior to a conversation with yourself about your application to foster and the information provided will not be used for any other purpose. If you are unable to provide this information now, then we will request it at the next stage.
