SCA - Foster to Adopt Application

Are you ready to become a cat owner? Or are you looking for a new kitty to join your existing clan? If you are, you can help a cat in need find its forever home... with you!

All SCA cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and are up to date with their flea and worm treatments before an adoption can be finalised. 

Things to consider before completing this application:
SCA has some important rules for those considering adopting a cat. Before applying to foster or adopt from us, please consider the following:
   * Do you have Real Estate approval?
   * Are you able to appropriately contain your cat within your home or yard?
   * Are other resident pets vaccinated and preferably desexed?
   * Can you provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for your cat?
   * Can you provide appropriate dietary requirements and vet care for your type of cat i.e. breed, life stage?

Please note that pets must be up to date with their vaccinations for their own protection. A minimum of F3 vaccination will be required for cats, although F5 is highly recommended. Proof will be required for our records.
To ensure the cat's health and safety, and compliance with council bylaws, it is expected that they are kept indoors at all times. Do you agree to keep your cat/s inside, and is your home equipped to contain cats, ie screens on windows and doors, etc?

Indoor cats require appropriate enrichment to ensure they receive enough exercise and stimulation, such as cat trees, scratch posts, flirt poles, toys, interactive toys.
