Cat Application to Adopt Nala and Ralph

Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge is NOT a “First to Apply” rescue. We adopt our cats based on the best home situation we feel, suits the individual cat's needs; within that restriction applications are assessed in the order of receipt. All information provided will be treated with strictest confidence. Please ensure you read the “Please Note” section at the bottom of this application. All sections must be filled in for this to be a valid application.

• Cats/Kittens can take 2 to 6 weeks to adjust to new surroundings, so please keep them inside for their own safety.

• We have a 28-day cooling off period whereby any cat/kitten purchased can be returned to the Refuge within 28 days. At the discretion of the Refuge, no refund is given but a credit for another animal is allowable within 6 months. This is a once only option.

Ralph and Nala's adoption fee is $500 for the pair

Microchip details will be transfered into the owners name only once the 28 day cooling off period expires.

For fairness to all prospective adopters we are unable to contact prospective applicants via phone without the adoption application and supporting information already completed. This process streamlines the adoption for the cat, you and SCARS. Due to the expected interest we won’t be able to respond to all applicants. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted within 7 days once applications have closed.

The final decision on adoption is entirely at SCARS discretion and we reserve the right to not enter into explanations and/or reasons as to why a particular adoption decision has been made. As noted above, we are looking for the most suitable match.

Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge is unable to guarantee the breeding or genetics of any of the animals that are available for adoption.
