🌿 Volunteering Days at Nibbles – Register Your Interest

We’re inviting supporters to register their interest in joining us for upcoming volunteering days at Nibbles, focused on essential maintenance, repairs, and practical improvements around the centre. There will be a wide range of jobs available — from general DIY tasks and small repairs to painting and hands-on improvement projects. Some tasks will benefit from a basic level of DIY experience, but you don’t need to be an expert — as long as you’re comfortable with practical work, we’ll be there to show you what needs doing and support you along the way. Please note that these days will involve physical work. For everyone’s safety, and due to the nature of the work involved, we’re unable to accept children or under-18s onsite during these volunteering days. Everyone who completes this form will be added to a dedicated volunteering days mailing list. This list will be used to share upcoming Saturday dates and the projects planned for each day as they become available, so you can choose which sessions you’d like to join. Our volunteering days are designed to be friendly, social, and rewarding — combining practical hard work with a supportive community atmosphere (and some homemade vegan soup and bread rolls as a bonus!).

Are there any practical skills or DIY experience you have that could help with repairs and improvements at the centre? For example: using power tools, basic carpentry, roofing work, painting and decorating, or general maintenance. Some tasks will require prior experience for safety reasons, while others will be suitable for beginners.
Do you have any tools you’d be happy to bring along if needed? e.g. drills, paint rollers, basic hand tools — we’ll always let you know in advance

Is there anything we should be aware of that could affect the type of physical tasks you’re able to take part in? (optional) For example: back pain, lifting restrictions, difficulty with ladders, recent injuries, or anything that may limit heavy or repetitive work. This helps us plan tasks safely.
I understand that Nibbles is located between Eglwyswrw and Rhoshill and cannot be accessed by public transport. I also understand that parking may not always be directly onsite and could require a short walk to the centre. *
