If adopting a puppy: I understand that puppies require a series of booster vaccinations before they can walk outdoors safely. A basic immunity is reached based on this vaccination schedule given in the first year: 3 x 8-in-1 vaccination, 1x rabies. I understand that vaccinations are the adopter’s responsibility and I will forward proof to the assigned adoption staff member of ACT after every given vaccination shot. *
If not already done, I will have the dog spayed/neutered by 6 months of age (around the age of 5.5 months). I will take the dog to a proper vet for neutering and I will immediately forward proof to the assigned adoption staff member of ACT. I understand that failure to comply with this requirement (even after being reminded several times by ACT's adoption staff) will result in the immediate return of the dog to ACT. *
