I understand that I am paying an adoption fee to place a hold on an animal listed above, at the Humane Society of Barron County (HSBC). I acknowledge that this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable if, for any reason, I am unable or choose not to proceed with the adoption.

I agree that I am responsible for arranging to meet, pick up, and finalize the adoption of the animal at HSBC during regular business hours, within seven (7) days of the date the animal is made available for adoption. If I do not complete the adoption within this timeframe, I understand that the hold may be canceled and the fee will not be refunded or transferred.

In the rare event that HSBC determines the animal is no longer eligible for adoption, I understand that the adoption fee may then be either refunded or transferred to another animal.
