Rabbit Adoption Application

Please give as much detail as possible in your answers - this will help us to help you through
the adoption process and ensure you and the animal are the right match for each other.

Our minimum housing size requirement for a pair of rabbits is 3m x 2m on one level, with a minimum height of 1m, and rabbits must have permanent 24/7 access to this.
This is non negotiable and is based on the Rabbit Welfare Association guidance.
Outdoor housing must be predator and escape-proof. Indoor set-ups must be bunny-proof.
Applications will only be considered where a suitable setup is already in place and you are ready to adopt.

IMPORTANT NOTES!
*The rescue is run from our home in the Whitefield area of Bury (BL9 postcode).
*We run the rescue entirely voluntarily, alongside working full time day jobs.
*A home-check will be completed prior to adoption, usually online via photos/videos
outdoor rabbit setups may require an in-person home check.
*Adopters must be aged 18 or over
(we are happy for minors to be involved in the care of animals adopted from us, but an adult must make the adoption application, and sign our adoption agreement to take full overall responsibility for the animals care)
*We do not permit animals to be transported home on public transport due to extra stress and travel time
*If you do not have your own transport, or a lift, we can only assist with transporting animals to new homes
within 1 hours drive of our location, and will require an additional donation to cover fuel costs
*Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to all enquiries, in particular where housing requirements are clearly not met. Please ensure you have read our care advice and requirements for your chosen animal carefully :)

*	I understand that if I adopt an animal from Tiny Paws MCR and am unable to care for them at any point during their lifetime for any reason, they MUST be returned to the care of the rescue.

Indoor setups: Please describe any steps you have taken to rabbit-proof the area the rabbits have access to (i.e. how do you prevent the rabbits from chewing wires, accesssing any hazards, etc)
Outdoor setups: Please describe how your enclosure is secure and predator proof (i.e. is it situated on slabs, what gauge is the mesh on any runs/aviaries, do doors have strong bolts and padlocks?)
What enrichment will you provide inside the set-up? *
