In most cases you will be required to meet with the cat you wish to adopt. However, in cases of interstate adoptions we will require photos of your home before an application will be considered.
Interstate adoptions are on a case-by-case basis and determined by the cat's needs.

These details are used to communicate the progress of your application, contacting you for a meet & greet and when registering the Microchip at the end of a successful trial period.

11a. If you answered No to the cat/kitten being indoors or in a secure enclosure, please tell us how you will prevent the animal from leaving your yard. We need to ensure the local wildlife and your new pet will be kept safe, along with adhering to the local council regulations.

13. Pre-adoptions : I agree to paying a $50 non refundable deposit upon approval of application and a successful meet and greet. * This is only applicable to pre-adoptions and where the cat/kitten is not yet ready for adoption due to vetwork needing to be completed. The $50 deposit secures your adoption, with the balance due prior to the day you collect your new pet.

Important Information:

Please ensure the animal you wish to adopt is available. If you cannot find his/her name in the list it means they are not currently available for adoption. Applications with the incorrect name chosen will be automatically cancelled to allow the named animal a chance to keep looking for a forever home.
Once the adoption application is received and approved, it will remain valid for up to 7 days for finalisation ( * special circumstances excluded).
Please be aware that some cats receive a high number of applications, many offering an ideal home and not everyone will receive a call back.
A Meet and Greet must be organised and occur within 5 days of contact by the pets carer.
The adoption process including fees, will need to be completed within this time or the application will be voided and the cat relisted for adoption.
Applicants must be 18yrs or over and financially capable of caring for the animal's wellbeing
All cats & kittens adopted from Little Legs are to be indoor pets only, with the exception of a secure outdoor enclosure or the use of a harness and lead.
