Cat Adoption Application

If you would like to apply to adopt a cat from the Galway SPCA, please complete this application form.

You must be 21 years of age or older to apply, and you must read our cat rehoming information page, here

Once your application is submitted you will receive an email reply with a copy of your application, which we will process. please read all the information carefully.

Our cat adoption fee is €100. This covers spaying/neutering, all vaccinations, microchipping, worming, de-fleaing and cats over 6 months will have been tested for FIV/FELV.

Only applications for Cats and Kittens can be processed using this form, Applications for dog and exotic animal have seperate applications and are not transferable.

Often a lot of our cats and kittens never make it to social media or our website as they are adopted before we have time to post their stories. We may have others than the one you selected that are more suitable
Video submissions are the most efficient option, but in person home visits may still be required in some cases. Details of how to submit your video can be found in the email confirmation one the application had been submitted.

By ticking the box you agree to: Have a home check. | Review and sign an adoption contract, should your application be successful. Provide your own suitably sized, secure cat carrier to transport your pet home on the day of adoption. Give permission for your information to be kept and used by the GalwaySPCA, as outlined in our Privacy Statement. I understand, should my application be approved, that I will receive an email from the cattery team outlining the next step in the process. I will check my spam and other folders. Failure to respond within 10 days of the email means that the application will be marked as no longer interested. I agree to all of the above.
