I understand that due to the time involved in training our volunteers, we request that each volunteer makes a minimum commitment of 2 shifts of volunteer work per month.
If helping with general cleaning, please let us know which day or times work best for you. We are flexible when scheduling but our normal shifts needed are as follows: Sunday 9am-12pm (short volunteer day), Monday through Saturday: 8am-11am or 9am-12pm or 11am-2pm

Dress Code: There is not a current dress code at the shelter. However, please keep in mind you will be doing a lot of bending and kneeling. Appearance must be neat and clean. Volunteer understands and agrees that Volunteer's participation at The Cat Corner, Inc. is "at-will" in nature. Thus either Volunteer or The Cat Corner, Inc. maintains the right to discontinue Volunteer's status as a volunteer at any time, with or without advance notice or cause. *
The Volunteer understands that the Services are offered freely and without any expectation of compensation, financial or otherwise. Non-Employee Status: The Volunteer acknowledges that they are not an employee, contractor, or agent of the Organization, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating any employment relationship. The Volunteer is not entitled to wages, benefits, or other compensation for the services provided for The Cat Corner, Inc. *
I recognize working with animals as a volunteer for The Cat Corner, Inc. (The Cat Corner) places me at risk. I understand that because I may handle animals, it is important for me to speak with my physician about the tetanus and rabies pre-exposure vaccinations. I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless The Cat Corner, Inc., Petco, PetSmart Charities or PetSmart, and its agents from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands based on damages or injuries I may incur in connection with my volunteer services for The Cat Corner, Inc. including by not limited to animal bites, accidents, or injuries. *
