Applicant Declaration By submitting and signing this application, I confirm that:
The information I have provided is complete, true and not misleading. I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee approval or the placement of a foster dog. I consent to Vada’s Angels contacting me, reviewing my application and completing a phone interview and property assessment. I understand that Vada’s Angels retains legal ownership of every foster animal. I will not sell, give away, rehome, transfer, move or allow another person to take responsibility for a foster animal without Vada’s Angels’ permission. I will keep the foster dog as an indoor household companion and provide safe, appropriate care, shelter, food, water, exercise and supervision. I will keep the foster dog on lead outside a securely fenced area unless Vada’s Angels has provided different written instructions. I will use positive, reward-based handling and follow all medical, training, behavioural and welfare instructions provided by Vada’s Angels. I will contact Vada’s Angels immediately about any escape, bite, injury, illness, accident, significant behavioural concern or change in circumstances. I will obtain approval before arranging non-emergency veterinary care, training or behavioural services. I will provide regular updates, photographs and information about the foster dog. I will return the foster dog and all rescue-owned equipment when requested or if I can no longer provide care. I understand that Vada’s Angels may uplift a foster animal if there are serious concerns about the animal’s safety, health or welfare. I understand that a separate Foster Agreement must be accepted before a dog is placed in my care. I understand that Vada’s Angels is not responsible for damage caused by a foster dog or for costs I incur without prior approval.
