Expect it will take time for your newly adopted dog to get used to the new routines and adapt to their new home. The ‘Rule of Three’ means that you can gauge the time it might take for your dog to fully acclimate to his home in threes: three days, three weeks, and three months.

Adoption Agreement Terms & Conditions
I understand and agree to the following:
I am 18 years of age or older and have read, understood and agreed to the terms below.
I agree to pay the specified non-refundable adoption fee.
Where an animal is under 6 months old and undesexed, I agree to pay a $200 desexing bond which will be fully refundable to me by Hear No Evil once proof of desexing is provided. I understand Hear No Evil will contact me when desexing is due to arrange the vet appointment at a vet chosen by Hear No Evil. I understand that the adoption fee includes the cost of desexing.
I agree to accept the animal in its current condition, health and behaviour.
I agree to provide the animal with access to clean water, food daily, adequate exercise, an indoor-only home (or indoor/outdoor with access to a shelter for all weather conditions), and minimum annual health checks.
The information I have provided to Hear No Evil as to the property on which the animal is to be housed, and my ability to maintain the animal in proper health, is true and not misleading in any way.
I understand that Hear No Evil may inspect the property on which the animal is to be housed to ensure the animal’s safety and security.
If at any time I am no longer able to provide a home for the animal, I agree to return the animal to Hear No Evil for rehoming.
I understand that the microchip ownership details will only be transferred after the 2-week‘ settling in’ period has ended or once the animal has been desexed.
I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms detailed within the ‘Hear No Evil’ Adoption Application.
